Shedding the Old Self

I create a safe environment where the exploration of long held secrets and feelings of low self-esteem, distress, and shame can be gently explored and transformed.. A snake sheds its skin when its insides become bigger than its outside.  When you grow on the inside the old you can become distressed during the chaotic time of transition. You might feel quite nervous, frustrated, foggy, uncomfortable in your skin as it prepares to loosen, to reveal a new phase of life--you might want to hide under a rock and scrape away at what you fear or no longer understand.

You may be filled with difficult emotions including shame, or perhaps be consumed with the feeling that you have lost your sense of purpose and direction, fallen from your path. Letting go of the old self can be a struggle, even when that old self no longer *fits* the new you that is attempting to emerge.

In many ways my work with individuals and groups is akin to the heart-to-heart guidance of a medicine woman. The power of a medicine wheel is in both the sum of its parts and also in every individual direction, each aspect of the circle or wheel. Each contain special teachings and yet they are all interconnected to one another. This mirrors an even greater mystery of interconnection as we reflect upon our inner and outer lives and the universe around us.

You will feel safe and encouraged, no matter the issues that are of concern to you at this time. Life can have many dips and bumps in the road, to have an unbiased guide by your side can help illuminate your journey. 

Womb Wisdom is an innovative, non-judgmental, compassionate form of non-polarized support and integration available to help women, couples, and men, anyone who has had a personal experience of (or been involved in) a miscarriage, abortion, or infertility.

This work is inclusive and cross-culturaly aware. The importance of respect and compassion infuses my work with women, couples, and the men who request transformational guidance after loss, and for help with questions regarding choice and transition.

Private sessions, phone appointments and workshops are available equally to women of all ages, ethnic backgrounds, religions, and politics.

You will be safe as you explore womb issues from days or decades ago.

Most in-person sessions are seventy (70) minutes, which provides plenty of time and spaciousness for this

transformative work. Longer sessions are an option.

A significant discount is offered for 6 or more pre-paid sessions

Outcalls are available in the Santa Barbara area.

Sessions in nature (beach or park) are an option too.
