Healing from Pregnancy Loss, will enhance your knowledge and skill as a helper/healer/therapist. You will learn to understand the nuances of womb loss and develop more compassion and comfort when working with clients and this complex experience.
Recommended for: doulas, midwives, somatic/massage therapists, pregnancy massage practitioners, ministers, acupuncturist's, doctors, obgyn's, nurses, counselors, health clinic staff, fertility technicians, and yoga instructor--in fact, suitable for all professionals working in the field of women's wellness. This training will guide you to better understanding, compassion, and greater intuitive trust when working with womb stories involving loss and termination.
Description
Illuminate the psychological, physiological, and spiritual concerns resulting from womb wounds and loss. Explore: lecture, dialogue, role-play, inter-personal process, trance, body/breathwork, movement awareness, psycho-spiritual process, and experiential transpersonal methods. The course will introduce transpersonal soul themes, cross-cultural, mythic, energetic, ceremonial, and embodied methods, to better understand and compassionately tend to womb loss. You will become more informed and comfortable as a guide for your clients ( women/couples/men) who have a history of pregnancy loss from a single event, and/or a combination of miscarriage, still-birth, abortion, infertility and selective termination (from multiple conceptions during fertility treatment).
Learn about experiences of emotional/somatic discomfort, by choice (surgical and medical abortion), and situations of forced termination, unplanned spontaneous loss, medically required. Information about nutrients/remedies, body awareness and healing trance will give this training great depth. Group discussion will make it apparent that the 'same procedure' can have some overlapping responses between women--yet is often experienced by individuals in a variety of different ways, resulting in highly unique, multi-layered reactions (in the days and decades after).

Womb Wisdom TM includes discussion about loss of the reproductive organs, early ovarian failure, female empowerment, sexuality, hormones, and vitality.
Healing from Pregnancy Loss will provide a non-polarized inclusive opportunity to develop sensitivity, therapeutic skills, and insight. This training will enhance your level of comfort and understanding when working with your clients. You will become more aware of this important (yet overlooked) aspect of the female reproductive experience. This information will help you gain the necessary knowledge and comfort to become an informed therapist--who will in turn be better able to compassionately support people that may have a history of pregnancy loss, infertility, miscarriage and/or abortion.
